Lien Negotiator (Elder Abuse & Personal Injury)

About the role

J&Y Law Firm is seeking an experienced Lien Negotiator to join its rapidly growing Plaintiff's Elder Abuse & Personal Injury practice in Los Angeles. The role involves reducing and managing medical liens for injured clients while ensuring accurate disbursements and excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Negotiate and reduce liens with providers and third‑party payers.
• Prepare client disbursement agreements and detailed disbursement sheets.
• Compile, verify, and tabulate all client costs, medical bills, and fees.
• Request and process payments for liens and client portions.
• Handle client inquiries regarding case status.
• Document all contacts in Litify and maintain professional standards.

Required profile

• Prior experience in lien negotiation or reduction.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent reading comprehension and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency for accurate calculations.
