Senior Family Law Paralegal / Case Manager

About the role

A growing U.S.-based family law firm is looking for an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal / Case Manager to take ownership of complex Florida family law matters. You will work directly with seasoned attorneys, supporting case preparation, discovery, financial analysis, client communication, and workflow improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned cases, including facts, procedural status, discovery, financial matters, and deadlines.
• Proactively monitor cases, identify missing information, upcoming deadlines, and potential issues.
• Prepare attorneys for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials by creating chronologies, issue and discovery summaries, financial summaries, exhibit lists, and supporting materials.
• Draft and review filings, pleadings, motions, notices, financial affidavits, marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, and discovery requests.
• Review and analyze financial documents, identify inconsistencies, and organize complex financial data for attorney review.
• Submit documents through the Florida Courts E‑Filing Portal, monitor filing status, schedule hearings, and navigate county‑specific procedures.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, following up on required documents, deadlines, and case updates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level legal professional with extensive experience in Florida family law.
• Strong judgment, initiative, and ability to anticipate attorney needs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate communication style for sensitive client interactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Florida Courts E‑Filing Portal.
• Experience in financial analysis and document review.
• Familiarity with county scheduling systems and local court procedures.
