Leasing Professional – 3500 Westlake

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for the 3500 Westlake community by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in. You will ensure a high‑quality resident experience and support lease renewals to maintain strong resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Ability to engage with prospects, conduct tours, and guide them through the leasing process.
• Strong attention to detail for application processing, credit checks, and lease documentation.
• Capability to assess apartment readiness and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Awareness of local market trends and ability to implement effective marketing strategies.
