About the role
The Lease Up Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the Liberty Lane community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on maintenance work with supervision of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders from resident requests, diagnose defects, and perform repairs following safety codes and company policies.
- Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
- Develop and enforce standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs, capital projects, and cost‑control initiatives.
- Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current, and stay up‑to‑date with OSHA and related regulations.
Required profile
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in property or building maintenance.
- Proven experience with hand and power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
- Strong logical problem‑solving ability and basic mathematical skills for financial and administrative tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
- Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs; property‑management system experience preferred.
Required skills
- EPA Type I and Type II or Universal HVAC certification.
- State‑required maintenance certifications.
- Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
- Competence with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
