Lease Up Service Supervisor (Weymouth)

About the role

The Lease Up Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs according to policies and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for community grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager on budgeting.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks and support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current, and stay up‑to‑date with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Provide courteous, responsive customer service to residents and internal team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in property‑management or building maintenance and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong logical problem‑solving abilities and basic mathematical skills for financial documentation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs; property‑management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II (or Universal) certification for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Competence with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
