Lead Trial Lawyer

About the role

Zinda Law Group is seeking a dynamic Lead Trial Lawyer to join its fast‑growing personal injury practice in Austin. You will lead a small docket of high‑value cases, delivering top‑tier litigation services while contributing to the firm’s mission of justice for all.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personal injury matters from intake through verdict, including case strategy and client communication.
• Draft and respond to motions, leveraging deep knowledge of procedural and evidentiary rules.
• Conduct depositions, prepare for and conduct jury trials.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service throughout the litigation process.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of litigation experience, with a minimum of 1 year in plaintiff or defense personal injury work.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico bar.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and maintain a disciplined, aggressive approach.

Required skills

• TRCP (Texas Rules of Civil Procedure) and Rules of Evidence.
• Motion drafting and response.
• Deposition taking and defense.
• Jury trial experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
