Procurement Manager

About the role

Version2.ai is scaling rapidly and needs a dedicated Procurement Manager to own the entire post‑verbal‑commit process for new logos, upsells, and renewals. You will be the primary point of contact for legal and procurement counterparts, handling redlines, negotiations, and contract execution from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Redline and negotiate every new contract from verbal commitment to a signed MSA, using standard terms and knowing when to hold firm or concede.
• Manage all supporting paperwork, including Service Orders, DPAs, BAAs, and addenda.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day liaison with prospect legal and procurement teams, handling back‑and‑forth directly.
• Gather required information from internal teams (Sales, CS, Finance, leadership) quickly to keep deals moving.
• Maintain clean, up‑to‑date deal records in HubSpot and flag any contract risk to the VP of Sales.
• Own the full renewal cycle for 200+ clients, coordinating with Customer Success on timing, pricing, and term changes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on contract negotiation and redlining as an individual contributor.
• Proven experience dealing directly with external procurement or legal counterparts.
• Strong ability to hold ground in negotiations while preserving relationships.
• Highly organized, capable of managing 10–20 active contract threads simultaneously.
• Fast, resourceful, and able to locate internal answers without building new processes.
• Proficiency with HubSpot or an equivalent CRM.
