Junior Recruiter - Door-to-Door Sales

About the role

A US-based marketing company that specializes in door-to-door sales staffing is looking for a dedicated recruiter to support its hiring for the door-to-door sales team and occasionally marketing roles. The recruiter conducts initial and group screening interviews for door-to-door candidates. Success is measured by the retention rate of candidates from the first to the second round of interviews. The role is fully remote, requires English-speaking fluency, and runs 8 AM to 5 PM CST.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Zoom interviews for door-to-door sales and marketing roles, following a provided script
• Run group interviews with 3 to 5 candidates per session, each lasting 30 to 45 minutes
• Manage several interviews per day while keeping a high level of energy
• Take notes on candidates using Applicant Stream for accurate records
• Present the roles compellingly, with a "sales style" to attract candidates
• Maintain strong candidate engagement and high retention through the interview process
• Assist in the three-round process by running the initial interviews and coordinating with the team for in-office second interviews
• Work with the hiring team to give feedback and continuously improve the recruitment process

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, administrative or client-facing positions
• Strong verbal English skills
• Ability to conduct engaging and persuasive interviews
• Nice to have: previous experience in door-to-door sales or a related field

Required skills

• 2+ years of remote interviewing, especially via Zoom
• Applicant tracking system proficiency
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
