Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in Whitestone, New York, to serve as an internal business partner delivering HR programs, initiatives and solutions to its functional areas. You will be a key member of the HR leadership team and provide strategic and tactical HR support for an assigned field operations location of about 450 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Support union, non-union, management and staff in the specified departments and field locations, ensuring HR compliance from both a legal and company policy perspective.
• Work with management to define talent management needs and design and implement HR programs such as organizational design, workforce development and planning, talent review, succession planning, talent acquisition and compensation management.
• Facilitate leadership development and key talent retention efforts, including performance management, coaching, counselling and corrective actions, employee recognition and rewards, and talent review.

Required profile

• 5+ years of generalist or HR leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Labor relations experience preferred.
