- Work with capture teams on technical and pricing strategies for proposals and support the acquisition lifecycle (ROMs, quotes, compliance reviews, negotiations) as prime or subcontractor.
- Engage contracting officers, program managers, innovation advocates and industry partners, and represent the organization at industry events and summits.
- Collaborate with technical, legal/contracts, business development and delivery teams to prototype solutions and pilot programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FAR, DFARS) and advise on risk mitigation for novel contracting approaches.
- Track the impact of innovation initiatives on win rates, contract value and delivery outcomes, and share knowledge through training.
Required profile
- 5-8+ years of experience in government contracting, business development, strategy consulting or innovation roles, with direct exposure to federal procurement.
- Proven track record of contributing to successful applications and contract wins, especially with innovative or non-traditional acquisition methods.
- Experience in DoD or intelligence community sectors strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Public Policy, Technology or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance (ability and willingness to take and pass a CI poly).
Required skills
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to turn complex technical concepts into actionable government solutions.
- Understanding of the ATO security process.
- Excellent analytical, research and presentation skills, including proposal writing and executive briefings.
- Preferred: AI background, CISSP or other security certifications, and experience in AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, autonomy or biotech.
What we offer
- Salary range of $160,000 - $200,000.
