HR Representative

About the role

The HR Representative supports employees and managers across hiring, relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals, compensation and promotions. Acting as the first point of contact, this role assists the HR Manager in designing, developing and implementing HR policies, programs and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide face‑to‑face support to employees, delivering information on policies, benefits and compensation.
• Serve as the initial contact for employee‑relations issues, motivation and job‑satisfaction concerns.
• Assist managers in interpreting and applying HR policies, performance appraisal tools, career planning and succession planning.
• Coordinate internal and external training, recruitment activities and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Screen applications, interview candidates and support hiring processes.
• Organise team‑building and community events, and coach new team members.
• Ensure compliance with data‑privacy guidelines and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in employee support, HR generalist or employee relations roles.
• SHRM‑CP or PHR designation preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with US employment regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt positively and handle confidential situations with professionalism.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using SuccessFactors or other HRIS systems.
