Head of Inventory Management / Russian Speaker

About the role

Whizz is looking for a Head of Inventory Management to take full ownership of spare‑parts flow across its New Jersey warehouse and city shops. The role is fully remote and works closely with the CEO and Operations Director to build a reliable, data‑driven inventory function.

Key responsibilities

• Align stock records with physical inventory at the main warehouse and city locations through regular cycle counts.
• Define minimum and maximum stock levels for key components and plan purchasing to eliminate part shortages.
• Document and enforce warehouse processes for receiving, transfers, write‑offs and stock counts.
• Launch and manage a used‑parts program, rebuilding valuable components for redeployment.
• Lead the inventory team and coordinate with developers to enhance the ERP’s warehouse module.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in spare‑parts, automotive, service or e‑commerce environments.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP or WMS and ability to critique and improve it.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working directly with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proven ability to write clear processes and drive team adoption.
• Fluent in English and Russian, with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with New York business hours.
