GTM Business Systems Engineer, Quote-to-Cash

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve its Quote-to-Cash systems built on the Salesforce platform. You will design, develop, and maintain the quoting, contract, and billing workflows that power revenue operations for a fast‑growing fintech company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Build and operate the Salesforce‑based Quote-to-Cash platform and integrations with Ironclad, Billing/Core, and other business systems.
• Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions.
• Drive architecture, tooling, and design decisions to keep commercial systems fast, reliable, and scalable.
• Write technical specifications, including architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.

Required profile

• 7+ years building applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• 5+ years of systems architecture and integration experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate commercial requirements into system behavior.

• Experience with Quote‑to‑Cash domains (quoting, pricing, contracts, billing, subscriptions)
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Kafka (nice to have)
