GTM Business Systems Engineer, Post Sales

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve its Post Sales systems, building products that power onboarding, activation, and revenue workflows. The role sits within Growth Engineering’s Business Systems Engineering team and works closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Data, Product, and GTM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Build and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce, internal revenue apps, data platforms, and adjacent business systems.
• Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions.
• Develop solutions on iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Clay) and drive architectural decisions for scalability.
• Write technical specifications, architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.

Required profile

• 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years experience in systems architecture and integrations.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to translate complex requirements into durable system behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Salesforce Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
• API design, integration patterns, streaming API, publish/subscribe.
• Python programming.
• Experience with CPQ, pricing, contract lifecycle management, billing, and subscriptions.
• CI/CD processes, unit‑testing best practices, and data pipeline knowledge.
