Groundskeeper – Middletown Landing

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Middletown Landing community in Louisville. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, and supporting the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings to keep all amenities tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with apartment turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates meet safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
