Full-Time Forklift Operator

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking full‑time Forklift Operators for its New Orleans service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, working on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
• Move freight safely within the dock area.
• Read and follow manifests and shipping documents.
• Interact with computer displays to track inventory and shipments.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.
