Full-Time Food Service Worker – San Francisco

About the role

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking a reliable Food Service Worker to join its team in San Francisco. This full‑time position involves preparing, presenting, and serving food in a fast‑paced café environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store food following proper wrapping, dating, rotation, and safety procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure correct portion sizes, temperatures, and quality.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently, handling any concerns and reporting to supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety, inventory, and cash control policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 11:45 AM – 8:15 PM.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
