FSQA Compliance & Systems Intern

About the role

The FSQA Compliance & Systems Intern will work on food safety and quality assurance projects, presenting results at the end of a 10‑12 week internship. The role offers exposure to root cause analysis, risk assessments, ingredient testing, experimental design, and KPI monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Perform risk assessments of products, processes, and ingredients.
• Execute ingredient and product testing, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Track Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and process performance metrics.
• Prepare and present project findings to FSQA leadership.

Required profile

• Current Master’s or PhD student in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry, or related field.
• Knowledge of HACCP, cGMPs, and FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food.
• Project‑oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.

What we offer

• Compensation $30‑$32 per hour.
• 10‑12 week internship starting June 8, 2027, with summer Fridays (8:00 am‑12:30 pm).
