Senior Process Engineer – Hybrid (Lakeville, MA)

About the role

Ocean Spray is hiring a Senior Process Engineer to lead development, scale‑up, and qualification of equipment and processes that support global business, innovation, and manufacturing optimization. The position is hybrid, based at the corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, scale up, and qualify new products and processes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead technical assessment, validation, and commissioning of processes at Ocean Spray and partner manufacturing facilities.
• Identify, validate, and implement modifications to improve yields, throughput, utility savings, and process control.
• Analyze existing operations from raw materials to finished packages to troubleshoot production challenges.
• Design and execute experiments in pilot‑plant and with strategic vendors to support scale‑up and technology exploration.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of federal, state, and local engineering codes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of process engineering or R&D experience, preferably in food or beverage.
• Ability to travel up to 50 % of the time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to lead cross‑functional project teams.
