Floating Area Community Manager – New England

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Floating Area Community Manager to oversee its New England portfolio. The role involves managing day‑to‑day operations of assigned properties, leading on‑site teams and ensuring financial and operational targets are met while complying with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily property operations, team members, and resources to achieve budgeted financial goals.
• Assist with due‑diligence and takeover activities, including file audits, unit inspections and onboarding of new staff.
• Provide performance coaching, remedial training and development resources to on‑site personnel.
• Contribute to budget preparation by analyzing financial statements, marketing data and operational reports.
• Ensure timely rent collection, bank deposits and preparation of monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates and manage coding to appropriate chart‑of‑accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, discounts and renewals.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily residential properties or similar real‑estate operations.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare budgets.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
