Endoscopy Sales Representative - Miami

About the role

Stryker's Endoscopy Division is hiring a field-based Endoscopy Sales Representative in Miami. The role promotes and sells Stryker endoscopy products to medical professionals, educating them on proper use and maintenance, and involves occasional overnight travel. The stated draw is $60k per year, with possible eligibility for commission and/or bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Endoscopy products within approved indications for use.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
• Direct product evaluations in the operating room and in the office.
• Assist in preparing and running trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings.
• Keep the regional manager informed regularly about territory progress.
• Solve product problems for customers quickly.
• May assist in training and developing sales personnel.

Required profile

• 2-5 years in an outside sales position; medical-related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, or five years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• Ability to negotiate price and terms with customers, and to resolve customer challenges.
• Ability to analyze market potential based on call patterns and to communicate with large groups and by phone and email.
• Ability to drive an automobile and to handle up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently; up to 20% overnight travel annually.

Required skills

• Operating common office equipment such as smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
