District Manager, Bay Area

About the role

Based in San Francisco, the District Manager will lead Vuori’s fast‑growing retail footprint in the Bay Area. You will be the brand’s ambassador, creating an energetic store environment where customers enjoy memorable experiences and teams are motivated to excel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Vuori stores through regular touch‑bases, in‑person visits, and development conversations.
• Audit and continuously improve operational processes across the district.
• Oversee hiring for all store roles, guiding Store Managers to build diverse, customer‑focused teams.
• Drive a culture of performance feedback, coaching, training and recognition aligned with Vuori’s core values.
• Ensure compliance with HR and labor laws, partnering with HR to resolve employee issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of onboarding and training materials, providing feedback for improvement.
• Act as liaison between HQ and stores, facilitating two‑way communication and idea sharing.
• Partner with the New Store Opening team to launch new locations within the district.
• Own district sales and operational performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑unit retail leadership experience in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong people‑management skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Deep understanding of HR compliance and labor law requirements.
• Excellent communication and partnership abilities with cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for the Vuori brand and its active‑coastal lifestyle ethos.
