Director, US Healthcare Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to drive growth of its consumer healthcare payment solutions in the United States. The Director will shape the strategy for health‑savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement arrangements and related patient‑centric payment experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and expand Mastercard’s healthcare payments portfolio.
• Identify, develop and close opportunities with health plans, benefit administrators, employers, providers, fintechs and healthcare technology firms.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering solutions that improve benefit utilization, affordability and payment efficiency.
• Build and manage executive‑level relationships and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain deep knowledge of HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, supplemental benefits and patient reimbursement solutions.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, data, cyber‑security, issuer and merchant teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in healthcare payments or related business development.
• Track record of selling to health plans, benefit administrators, employers, providers and fintech partners.
• Strong consultative selling and executive relationship management skills.
• In‑depth understanding of consumer healthcare payment instruments such as HSAs, FSAs, HRAs and supplemental benefits.
