Director of Sales Operations – US (Remote)

About the role

The Director, Global Sales Strategy & Operations leads the operational management of the worldwide sales organization. This role provides the discipline and processes that allow sales leaders to concentrate on executive client relationships, strategic account development, coaching, and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational management of the global sales organization.
• Establish and manage the operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, opportunity reviews, business reviews, and executive reporting.
• Own CRM governance to ensure pipeline accuracy, forecast integrity, and consistent opportunity management.
• Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive business insights.
• Analyze pipeline health, sales performance, conversion rates, and forecasting trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase sales productivity and operational efficiency.
• Act as the operational extension of the Vice President of Global Sales, preparing executive summaries, managing follow‑up actions, and coordinating leadership communications.
• Serve as project manager for complex, multi‑product enterprise pursuits, developing execution plans and coordinating proposal timelines.
• Develop executive dashboards and scorecards, monitoring pipeline qualification and sales performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global sales operations or sales strategy functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, partnering with Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, Delivery, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise deals and drive process improvements.
