Direct Care Worker

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide in‑home support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. You will work directly with clients, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well‑being while assisting with daily living activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with mobility, toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Prepare nutritious meals, shop for groceries, and manage medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental well‑being.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to stand, bend, kneel, or reach for extended periods.
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and respect for client dignity.
