About the role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 14‑week assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position starts on 06/08/2026, works 40 hours per week on day shifts, and offers competitive weekly pay.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure their safety.
- Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any malfunctions and adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and answer their questions.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Current state‑licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiography license.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Preferred: ARRT certification or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
