Field Service Engineer – CT/MRI (Syracuse, NY)

About the role

Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites. The position involves extensive travel across the Syracuse region, with occasional overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting arrival commitments.
• Understand the customer’s business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
• Participate actively in the regional work team, improving processes and identifying training gaps.
• Perform administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Utilize tools, support resources, and escalation processes to resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems promptly.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries, preferably with CT or MR equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• Capability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
