About the role

Reflection is a research lab building open AI models that anyone can use, customize, and extend. As a Data Partnerships & Initiatives Manager you will shape the data strategy that powers our models, working directly with world‑class researchers to ensure high‑quality training data for critical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Reflection’s research, product, and business roadmap and translate it into data needs and quality requirements.
• Design and own sourcing strategies and pipelines, evaluating suppliers, negotiating agreements, and verifying deliverables.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to accelerate research velocity while maintaining data quality.
• Monitor the broader data ecosystem to identify gaps and opportunities that give Reflection a competitive edge.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or comparable high‑impact roles.
• Proven ability to own ambiguous, large‑scale problems end‑to‑end and break them into actionable plans.
• Comfort engaging senior leaders, influencing decisions, and driving alignment across teams.
• Thrives in fast‑moving, high‑pressure environments with strong analytical intuition.
• Genuine curiosity about LLM training and the societal impact of AI.
