Customer Success Engineer – Remote (US)

About the role

Rescale is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to act as the trusted technical advisor for named customers, delivering the best cloud HPC experience and building strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers and lead activities from deployment to user training and support.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to plan and execute successful deployments of Rescale solutions.
• Analyze customer infrastructure, operations, and workflows to onboard new workloads and expand Rescale’s footprint.
• Define and execute digital transformation strategies to migrate on‑prem workloads to the cloud.
• Present Rescale solutions at conferences, user groups, and webinars.
• Provide feedback to Product Management to improve the ScaleX platform.

Required profile

• Customer‑obsessed mindset with strong empathy.
• At least 2 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a customer‑facing role.
• B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics or equivalent; U.S. Person status required.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise cloud, hardware, or software technical environments.
• General knowledge of high‑performance computing (HPC) disciplines such as CFD, FEA, molecular dynamics, etc.
• Familiarity with HPC simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, AVL, Altair, PTC, Cadence, Synopsys, Autodesk, OpenFOAM, LAMMPS, GROMACS, NAMD).
• Understanding of HPC schedulers, IaaS, and scripting languages.
