About the role
As a Customer Service Representative at Dot Foods, you will complete a 12‑week training program that combines classroom instruction and job shadowing. After training, you will support multiple territories and progress toward a dedicated customer service territory within 6‑12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate solutions.
- Serve as liaison between customers and internal departments such as Replenishment, Pricing, Accounts Receivable, and Transportation.
- Process customer orders to meet internal deadlines.
- Deliver empathetic service and go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with outside sales, regional teammates, and internal customers.
- Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
Required profile
- High School Diploma (required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of email and phone requests quickly and accurately.
- Two years of professional customer service experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (optional).
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
