About the role

DualEntry is seeking a hands‑on Controller to own and scale its accounting function as the company accelerates growth in AI‑native ERP solutions. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to translate strategy into measurable financial execution across product, engineering, GTM, and CX.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function end‑to‑end, including month‑end close, reconciliations, controls, and financial reporting.
• Build DualEntry’s financial infrastructure from the ground up: chart of accounts, accounting policies, workflows, and audit‑ready controls.
• Drive GAAP‑compliant reporting and make all technical accounting decisions.
• Prepare DualEntry for its first external audit and maintain ongoing audit readiness.
• Partner with the CEO, GTM, and Ops teams to connect financial reporting to business performance metrics such as ARR, burn, unit economics, and board‑level narratives.
• Support quarterly and annual planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting.
• Hire and develop a small accounting team as the company scales.
• Build the financial operating model that supports the next phase of growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with hands‑on experience at a high‑growth technology company.
• CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance.
• Expertise in financial reporting and audit preparation.
