Construction Superintendent (Federal)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of a new ground‑up federal facilities project in South Florida. This hands‑on leadership position oversees all site activities from mobilization through final turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and compliance with federal contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations from mobilization to project close‑out.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades across structural steel, pre‑engineered systems, and MEP installations.
• Maintain project schedules, sequencing, and logistics, including deliveries and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and federal quality standards.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety, coordinate inspections, testing, and turnover documentation.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve field issues and produce daily reports.

Required profile

• 5+ years of superintendent experience on federal or commercial vertical construction projects valued $7M‑$12M.
• Proven track record managing ground‑up projects from sitework through final finishes.
• Strong knowledge of federal contract requirements and quality standards.
• Ability to build relationships with owners, inspectors, and subcontractors.

• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations.
• Earthwork and underground utility installation.
• Concrete work and building envelope construction.
• Site development, parking, sidewalks, and stormwater infrastructure.
