Construction Project Manager – Mabank, TX

About the role

Clayton Homes is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the field construction of new homes in the Mabank area. Reporting to the Home Center General Manager, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the high service standards expected by our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction for current deals, from scheduling to final walk‑throughs.
• Coordinate with contractors, obtain permits, and handle service calls.
• Conduct customer walk‑throughs and maintain the Home Center Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Organize retail‑center merchandising, including moving furniture, décor, and cleaning homes.
• Partner with the manager on exceptions, protect company assets, and support sales and marketing events.
• Assist sales professionals and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and customer‑relation abilities.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to lift/move furniture and promotional items.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and post‑offer drug screen.
• Two‑year degree preferred.
