Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Summer Intern

About the role

Join Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine as a Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics intern for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced scientists on drug development projects spanning preclinical to late‑stage clinical studies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform literature reviews and data analysis of PK, biomarker, preclinical and clinical data.
• Build and analyze PK/PD models, population PK/PD, quantitative systems pharmacology, and model‑based meta‑analysis.
• Develop quantitative methodologies, advanced visualisations (e.g., RShiny) and explore machine‑learning applications.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an accredited program (MS, PharmD, PhD, MD or similar) in a life‑science related discipline.
• Available full‑time for at least 12 weeks between May‑September 2027 and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools such as NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, R, Python or MATLAB.
• Experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and computational workflows.
