Senior Principal Scientist – Preclinical Safety & Translational PK/PD

About the role

The Senior Principal Scientist will join discovery project teams to design and execute preclinical and early clinical studies, providing quantitative model‑based analyses that guide candidate selection and dosing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Apply PK/PD, physiologically‑based PK, mechanistic PK/PD, and systems pharmacology modeling to support decision‑making from discovery through early clinical phases.
• Develop and refine quantitative models to predict preclinical and clinical PK profiles, quantify exposure‑response relationships for biomarkers, efficacy and safety, and advise on experimental design.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmacology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field with 6+ years industry experience, or Master’s with 8+ years experience.
• Proven track record of peer‑reviewed publications in mathematical modeling and simulation, strong communication and teamwork skills.
