Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English & Spanish Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organized Bilingual Medical Receptionist to support the front‑office operations of a busy medical practice. The role is fully remote and requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as well as solid experience in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls in English and Spanish and provide courteous front‑office support.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments, sending reminders as needed.
• Register new patients, collect demographic data, and maintain accurate records in the EMR/EHR system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, document insurance details, and coordinate with billing staff.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and administrative requests with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage incoming messages, faxes, and other communications, routing them appropriately.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. healthcare environments.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a clinic, hospital, or outpatient setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
