About the role

Our client, a legendary Los Angeles hotel known for hosting world leaders, celebrities, and high‑profile events, is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager. You will lead the execution of weddings, luxury social events, corporate functions, and exclusive celebrations, ensuring flawless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day banquet operations and oversee event execution.
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate staffing, timelines, and logistics.
• Partner with Catering, Culinary, Sales, Housekeeping, and Engineering to deliver seamless events.
• Coach, mentor, and develop banquet team members, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, labor costs, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain banquet inventory, equipment, linens, china, glassware, and supplies.
• Anticipate operational challenges and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of banquet, food & beverage, or hotel operations experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in banquet operations.
• Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, country club, or high‑volume event venue preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure.
