Bar Manager / Mixologist

About the role

Our client, a modern Vietnamese restaurant, is looking for a creative and service‑driven Bar Manager / Lead Mixologist to shape and execute a specialty cocktail program while staying hands‑on during peak service hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and evolution of the restaurant’s specialty cocktail program, including seasonal menus inspired by modern Vietnamese flavors.
• Work the bar during high‑volume periods, ensuring speed, accuracy, and guest‑focused hospitality.
• Oversee daily bar operations, inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control to meet profitability targets.
• Recruit, train, and mentor bartenders and barbacks, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of bar leadership experience in upscale or high‑volume restaurants.
• Proven track record developing craft cocktail programs and managing bar inventory and cost control.
• Responsible Beverage Service certification.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and modern mixology techniques.
• Experience with cocktail recipe testing, costing, and standardization.
