AV Installation Technician – Low-Voltage Systems

About the role

Synergy Integrated Systems is seeking a Low‑Voltage Installation Technician to join its Raleigh field team. The role involves installing and configuring AV, lighting, networking, and security systems for residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Pull, terminate and test low‑voltage cabling including Category, Fiber, Speaker and Lutron lines.
• Install and mount TVs, projection systems, video walls, audio equipment, shading, low‑voltage lighting and security devices.
• Build and lace equipment racks and configure devices.
• Integrate and program control systems such as Control4.
• Set up and troubleshoot network connections and AV devices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, field‑oriented individual with a trustworthy attitude and a desire to learn.
• Experience on construction sites, ability to climb ladders, pull cabling and use power and hand tools.
• Steady work history (minimum three years) and strong interpersonal skills.
