About the role
Paulson's is seeking an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join the team. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low‑voltage systems in commercial and residential settings.
Key responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
- Mount devices at the ends of cables.
- Build and lace equipment racks.
- Set up and configure devices.
- Understand network fundamentals.
- Troubleshoot devices and systems.
- Program Lutron, C4, Savant, and Crestron systems.
Required profile
- Interest in commercial and/or residential AV & low‑voltage wiring and installation.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Required skills
- Low‑Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker).
- Lutron system installation and programming.
- Crestron system installation and programming.
- Equipment rack assembly.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Programming of AV control platforms (C4, Savant).
What we offer
- $22–$25 per hour with advancement path.
- SIRA retirement plan with 3% match after 1 year.
