Associate II – Project Development

About the role

The Associate II will support the development and execution of a variety of high‑end residential and commercial projects, delivering both design and technical solutions under the guidance of project leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design and technical solutions while managing smaller projects independently.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Associates and Associate I staff.
• Lead consultant coordination and manage local authority regulatory reviews.
• Select finishes, fixtures, equipment and other project components.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, and maintain project specification databases.
• Curate and maintain digital and physical material libraries for the team.
• Maintain vendor relationships and act as a liaison between suppliers and the firm.
• Participate in client presentations, internal QA/QC, and the firm’s Ways of Working.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience on high‑end residential or commercial projects.
• Advanced understanding of building codes related to egress and capacity.
• Ability to work independently and frame problems with effective solutions.
• Strong task delegation skills while providing meaningful feedback.
• Commitment to meeting project goals, schedules, and budgets.

Required skills

• Building code compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency with project management software.
