AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the role

We are looking for an AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our high‑velocity AI team. You will work directly with AI‑native companies, turning complex AI challenges into production‑ready systems while collaborating with customers, account executives, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical and business challenges and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy POCs, MVPs, and production AI applications, including LLM and generative AI workloads.
• Optimize inference infrastructure, manage GPU resources, and integrate open‑source models on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams, troubleshoot deployment issues, and communicate architecture trade‑offs to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Contribute code to the platform, turn customer learnings into product feedback, and own projects from discovery through production.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of client‑facing technical or AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and ability to work hands‑on across engineering, delivery, and product.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML or generative AI applications, especially with LLMs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both engineers and executive stakeholders.
