About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to support psychotherapy training for psychiatry residents. This contingent, academic‑affiliate position involves direct teaching and supervision of resident clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry.
Key responsibilities
- Provide instruction and supervision for psychiatry residents during psychotherapy sessions.
- Develop and deliver educational content aligned with residency curriculum.
- Assess resident performance and offer constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a high‑quality learning environment.
Required profile
- Approved Joint Faculty Review (JFR) or equivalent credential.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical/religious exemption.
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Experience in psychotherapy and psychiatric education.
