Accreditation Specialist – Remote (US)

About the role

The Accreditation Specialist will lead performance‑improvement initiatives to boost clinical quality and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. This remote position supports the Plan’s NCQA and HEDIS activities across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop performance‑improvement projects to enhance clinical quality and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate delegation oversight mechanisms and serve as liaison between the Plan and corporate oversight.
• Maintain the accreditation readiness schedule and create related policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver training programs for the provider network and delegated vendors to support NCQA and HEDIS activities.
• Lead QI, NCQA and HEDIS projects with vendors to sustain accreditation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with delegation oversight audits and manage corrective‑action plans to ensure compliance with state, federal and contract standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum three years of experience in quality improvement, HEDIS and/or NCQA accreditation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NCQA accreditation standards.
• Experience with HEDIS reporting and methodology.
