Vice President, Manufacturing Operations – East Region

About the role

The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for the East Region will own commercial product manufacturing, shipping, receiving and facility management across a network of plants. Reporting to the CEO, this remote role requires extensive travel (≈70%) to lead and align multiple sites in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing at all regional sites with a safety‑first mindset, ensuring world‑class EHS performance and regulatory compliance.
• Drive operational excellence using shop‑floor KPIs, short‑interval controls, SQDC metrics and Lean methodologies.
• Apply Six Sigma, SPC and other Lean tools to reduce lead times, costs and process variation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to lower internal and external quality costs while sustaining ISO and customer quality standards.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that optimize footprint, improve efficiency and scale best practices across the company.
• Carry full P&L, budget and capital ownership for the East Region manufacturing portfolio.

Required profile

• Strategic operator with a proven track record of business growth in a manufacturing environment.
• Senior leader capable of influencing peers across functions and driving alignment in ambiguous, rapidly changing conditions.
• Experience managing large, multi‑site operations with direct responsibility for 10+ reports.
• Strong financial acumen with full P&L and capital budgeting experience.
