Senior Staff Accountant / Tax Professional (Remote, US)

About the role

An established public accounting firm seeks an experienced Staff Accountant/Tax Professional to join its fully remote team, working from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record and review adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare individual and business tax returns.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Communicate directly with clients as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of public accounting or tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or active progress toward CPA license preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax preparation.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
