Senior Associate, Infrastructure Operations – Voice & Network

About the role

The Senior Associate, Infrastructure Operations – Voice & Network is responsible for the operational ownership, stability and continuous improvement of Santander’s enterprise voice and trading‑floor communication systems. This hands‑on role works directly with traders, networking teams and external vendors to ensure high availability, regulatory compliance and operational excellence. The position requires full on‑site presence on the trading floor and occasional weekend or after‑hours support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operational point of contact for all trading‑floor voice systems.
• Support, configure and optimise trading turrets, telephony platforms and user profiles.
• Operate, maintain and enhance TPO/TSS platforms and voice hypervisors.
• Administer NICE voice recording systems to meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex voice and network issues (SIP, IP connectivity, VLANs, routing, firewall, QoS).
• Drive incidents to resolution and coordinate with networking, security and end‑user teams.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventative improvements.
• Plan, execute and rollback production changes, deployments and upgrades.
• Manage relationships with telecom carriers and vendors, tracking performance and milestones.

Required profile

• Senior‑level operational experience in voice and network infrastructure, preferably in a financial‑services environment.
• Hands‑on, on‑site work style with willingness to work weekends or after‑hours as needed.
• Strong collaboration skills with traders, front‑office users, networking teams and external vendors.
• Ability to manage incidents, problems and change processes end‑to‑end.
