Software Engineer - Android

About the role

As an Android Software Engineer at Cape, you will build the definitive private‑mobile‑communication application that embodies the company’s privacy‑first mission. You will own the full feature lifecycle, from architectural design to launch on Google Play and privacy‑focused alternative stores.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android app features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate advanced security and cryptography mechanisms to protect personal data, account information, voice, and SMS traffic.
• Manage the end‑to‑end release process, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers, architects, and product visionaries to solve complex technical challenges.
