SAP Master Data Analyst (Hybrid) – Research Triangle Park

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division as an SAP Master Data Analyst supporting seed and crop chemical material master data. The role is based in Research Triangle Park, NC and operates in a hybrid work model, contributing to high‑quality data across global and regional supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and perform core tasks of the APN Master Data Team while managing the full material life‑cycle (creation, maintenance, cleansing, sell‑out) in line with global, regional and local requirements.
• Ensure master‑data accuracy and integrity to support end‑to‑end supply‑chain and operations processes.
• Analyze large master‑data sets to diagnose SAP issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support cross‑functional workstreams across OTC, P2P, MFG, PLN, SL, TM, WM, QM and FICO, and contribute to system upgrades such as S/4HANA.
• Identify and implement simplification, standardisation and harmonisation opportunities, and drive automation using RPA, VBA and SAP scripting tools.
• Utilise SQL and relational database concepts for effective master‑data management and leverage MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and Teams for documentation and reporting.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with local, regional and global stakeholders to meet production and product‑launch timelines.
