Sales Development Representative – Steamboat Springs

About the role

This full‑time Sales Development Representative position will rotate across multiple territories, primarily supporting the Steamboat Springs market. The role focuses on maximizing sales of supplier brands, providing merchandising assistance, and offering route relief for the local sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts and establish efficient daily routing patterns.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting displays, new products, cold‑box, shelf, back‑bar placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Enhance brand visibility using current point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments and deliver checks or remittances where permissible.
• Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand portfolios.
• Provide product deliveries in extenuating circumstances and address customer issues.
• Strategize to achieve sales and merchandising objectives based on pricing and product programming data.
• Ensure compliance with national account requirements and complete necessary surveys.
• Track account buying patterns and maintain accurate purchase histories.
• Meet distribution, volume, and activity goals set by management.
• Manage receivables by processing credits, returns, and communicating on aged balances.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Local candidates preferred within a commutable distance of Steamboat Springs.
